Salem's beyt sha'ar (goat hair tent) at Wadi Arwaybaya. The goat hair, often times combined with camel hair for the side walls, can block out wind, sand and the occasional rain. This type of home is very portable, being broken down in a matter of minutes and easily packed on a camel. Less nomadic than in centuries before, though, the Muzeina Bedouin still cling to vestiges of their wandering past.
