The Burning Bush in a courtyard outside the chapel at the 1,600 year old Monastery of St.
Katherine. Originally, the chapel was built around, thusly enclosing, what was believed to
be the Burning Bush, through which God spoke to Moses. Deprived of sunlight and nearing
death, the bush was clipped and transplanted outside. Pilgrims now reach overhead and take
small clippings of it themselves, but I've never felt comfortable doing so.
