Al Azhar mosque, Cairo. The first foundation for this exquisite structure was laid in
971 AD, making this over 1,000 years old. The various occupying forces added to it and the
varying architectural styles of Ottoman and Arab are evident in the different types of
minarets that rise above the mosque.
